I think I have fallen in love with wearing pearls. I just love how they make me feel. Like a classic 40 woman. All done up and ready to paint the town red. They just feel so nice on my neck. Heavy and smooth. Round and creamy. When I touch them I feel like I want to say something along the lines of, "Darling, would you care for another glass of sweet tea." I feel southern and a little like Emily Post. Is this odd? I don't think I'm going to take them off for a while. My pearls have become my new friend.
On another note, I've becoming more concerned lately about people who don't blog on a fairly daily basis. It's not because I want to see what they are doing, but I think the pearls have affected my brain. They have turned me into a mom, and when I don't see someone write for a few days, I start to fear the worst. What if they are sick, what if they got hurt, what if they got lost in the jungle??? Problem is I think this about complete strangers. People I only know through their blogs. It's an odd phenomenon. Will someone please correlate the connection between pearls and losing your mind??
