Heh. After dinner, we somehow made it back down to the range again. Last time it was expensive (rentals, ammo, etc.) This time was worse. The love of my life decided she liked the mid-sized Kimber 1911 (it figures she picked the pretty one.) We didn't actually buy it (yet), because she wants to shoot a few other guns first, but I have a feeling she found the one she wants. Unfortunately, she didn't like the feel of the Dan Wesson .357 she picked up. Kinda sad, because it was a totally awesome price (I might have to go back and buy it for myself anyway.) We did however buy a shotgun. Heh. Been needing one of them. We ended up with an el cheapo Mossberg 500 (not identical, but close to Robb's new one.) For the price we got it for, I don't expect anything fantastic. Whenever Beth gets competitive with her clays, maybe we'll get that $2500 Ruger O/U she wants.
Anyway, I'll post the requisite gun pr0n next week sometime. |
