...that people will jump through hoops to list firearms for sale on Craigslist.

In case you didn't catch that, the idea is to make it look like golf equipment. Heh.
This is quite common, because there are actually a few dedicated CL users who get their jollies by flagging gun-related (i.e. actual guns, magazines, ar15 uppers, etc.) sales. When people post something like this, it usually works, because hoplophobes don't know real firearms terms... they only know Brady Campaign buzzwords.
So don't try and post an ad for a "black assault bullet sprayer" or something, 'cuz you'll be flagged. Don't post a picture either. In fact, even if you are selling a gun part that kinda sorta looks or sounds like it might be part of a gun, you'll get flagged.
Of course, my personal advice is to not post a gun for sale on Craigslist... not because of some legal issue, or a possible ToS violation... but because if [add your own doomsday scenario here], you may need that gun. |
