So there isn't a whole lot to do in the evenings here, unless a group of us agree on it. Mostly there are numerous places to eat. We're hoping to make it to an iMax theater to see Polar Express in 3d. Aside from that, we just eat. And the food tastes better knowing I don't have to pay for it.
But tonight, the food was particularly excellent. We found a brochure for a Greek taverna called "Agora". Splendid... Two thumbs up. I had fig stuffed chicken and pasta. My two co-workers both had lamb. It was really hard to choose from all the mouth-watering things they had on the menu... it was even harder turning down baklava afterwards since we were all stuffed. If you are ever near Raleigh, stop and have dinner here. It was actually about 20 minutes from where we are staying, but damn it was worth it.
On another note, what beautiful weather. It rained some in the morning, and theres a front coming in, so I don't know how long it will hold up, but the air and the humidity are absolutely perfect. I think I'm gonna have to sit down in front of the TV and let the mixture of good food, Oracle 10g, and lovely weather digest. |
