Well, here I am. My office has a view of the bay. The sun is shining. It has been in the 80s most of the time since I got here.
We put our house on the market right after Christmas, figuring it might take a few months to sell. Two days after it went on the market, it was shown, an offer was made, and the contract was executed. All before New Years Day. That made the sixteen hour drive to Tampa a little more relaxed.
Beth came down for the weekend to look at houses, and a little bit of walking along the beach. We made a decision, and I made an offer last night. The house is pretty cute. You'll notice the primary picture is of the pool... and with good reason. We didn't find another house anywhere near where we wanted to live that had a particularly nice pool, except this one, and it is a really really nice pool.
Anyway, I'll write more later, just thought I'd give everyone an update on what we're up to. |
