Haven't taken a genuine new shooter to the range in a while, but I did get a couple of people pretty good and hooked on the shotgun games a while back. The boyfriend occasionally shoots skeet but his girlfriend (an old classmate of mine) hadn't shot since she was a kid.
Now they're coming out every Wednesday to shoot with our little group.
Oh, and from what I gather the boyfriend has been given permission to delay the purchase of an engagement ring if he'll buy her a shotgun of her own.
